Mural Collaboration

Created in collaboration with local artist Heddy Shears, this project involved the design and crafting of 3 x large format external mural panels; 2 x timber 'peace poles'; and a ceramic wall mural, for Brisbane primary school, St. Joseph's Bardon. Symbology reflecting the 3 words of the school's motto was the basis of the Mural Panel concept; and once approved, I developed and digitised the design, which was then transferred onto both sides of the panels and painted. The design of the ceramic component replicates the school's logo, and the five local native birds link the 3 x components of the installation.
